There was precisely one thing notable about Milo's tedious journey back to the U.S. of A, as crew on the alarmingly osteoporitic tramp steamer - rather grandly mis-named the S.S. Zeus.
This was a bosun named Higgs.
Milo, introduced, half-raised an exhausted eyebrow and rolled his eyes beseechingly heavenward. Higgs mistook the import of the gesture. He made Milo's life hell for the entire voyage.
Milo was unsurprised by this. It seemed right in cosmic character.
